The neem tree is a species native to India and has been regarded as a valuable natural resource since ancient times. Every part of the neem tree—flowers, leaves, stems, bark, roots, and seeds—contains rich antioxidants and exhibits powerful antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, and anti-aging properties. Traditional Indian medicine uses it to treat various ailments, including common skin and inflammatory issues like eczema, psoriasis, acne, and rosacea. Traditional Indian households often grind neem leaves into powder to brew tea (a bitter but effective remedy!) or make oil for various skincare, farming, or household products.

Skin Care
Rich in essential fatty acids and vitamin E, it has strong antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, and healing properties. It can be applied directly to areas affected by eczema, psoriasis, acne, and dry sensitivity, providing soothing effects while effectively inhibiting bacteria, reducing inflammation, moisturizing, repairing, and alleviating itching. It can be mixed with other carrier oils, such as moringa seed oil, sweet almond oil, or coconut oil, to enhance absorption. It can also be used alone as a carrier oil, mixed with various essential oils and Himalayan rock salt; it can be added to warm water for bathing, sitz baths, or foot baths.
Scalp Care
It nourishes the scalp, reduces dandruff, and promotes healthy hair growth. Simply massage neem oil gently into the scalp, let it sit for about 30 minutes, and then wash with HosannaWind Moringa Hair Revitalising Shampoo Bar for shinier, more vibrant hair.
Pet Care
Can be applied to pets or their ear canals, effectively providing antibacterial properties, relieving itching, and repelling fleas. It can be added to pet shampoo, or diluted with 96% alcohol and pure water for spraying on pets to keep them moisturized and flea-free. Additionally, cotton can be soaked in an appropriate amount of neem oil to thoroughly clean pets' ears, providing sterilization and itch relief.
Home Protection and Cleaning
It has insect-repelling, lice-killing, and antibacterial properties. Mixed with water to create a spray, it can be applied to corners, windowsills, and doorways, forming a natural protective barrier. Mixing neem oil with pure water and a small amount of vinegar creates an effective cleaner suitable for kitchens and bathrooms.
Plant Pest Control
A purely natural physical insecticide, it is very effective against pests and does not cause resistance. Mix neem oil in low doses with warm water and a small amount of natural soap solution (available for purchase at HosannaWind) and spray it on the entire plant (both sides of the leaves) every 5 to 7 days, avoiding high temperatures and rainy days for application.
